A Hindu organisation filed a police charge against Shriya Saran, objecting to her provocative outfit in 2008. It alleged that Shriya's outfit had offended Hindu culture. The police officially took in the complaint and investigate the case. Shriya then tendered an unconditional apology for wearing inappropriate skimpy attire.
